Ingredients
• Slippery Elm bark powder: 8 Capsule of 350 to 400 mg
• Filter water: 8 Table Spoons
Ratio: 1 capsule of SE (350 – 400 mg) : 1 Table Spoon of water
Instructions
• Into a small saucepan place the slippery elm powder, slowly add water, simultaneously whip it with a fork until well dissolved.
• Bring to simmer over low flame, stirring constantly. Simmer 1 or 2 minutes or until slightly thickened.
• Pour into a small glass jar (sterilized with hot boiled water before use), loosely cover with lid and let cool.
• After 1/2 hour, tighten the lid and refrigerate. Keeps seven or eight days in the refrigerator.
Dosage
3 to 5 cc two to three times a day with a plastic syringe or dropper. Make sure to give the slippery Elm syrup one hour after or 2 hours before giving meal or other medication.
You must take one or two days break for every 7 to 8 days of continuous feeding of Slippery Elm Syrup.
